Just A Faded Memory

Just A Faded Memory

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

The love we had~

I  still crave within my heart

The sweetest of memories

Of laughter, of tenderness

At times even tears

My soul aches with the desire for you

To hold me with unwritten law

If it could just be so

I could then burst forth

With the womanness in me

Which longs to be set free

Now…

Just the dust remains

 Yet, the lust remains

A memory of long ago

Of faded love

The love of you and me

A love not meant to be

I'm not an extraordinary woman, simply put... I'm just a normal, ordinary one. In my private life I am gingerly cautious with the people I meet, but fearless in the words I write. Not an extrove.. more..
