Let Me Love You When I Find You

Let Me Love You When I Find You

A Story by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne
"

Another old heartfelt love poem

"

Let me love you when I find you

allow me to hold you close to my breast

for such is the way of love, priceless never bought

Hold me close as the sun plays with the shadows

let me breathe in your fragrance

in the oncoming warmth of the dawn

when our hearts beat quiet in the morn of day

For when I am truly loved by you

your sweet scent comes to me in dreams

When the sunset comes in our later years

I'll sit with you in our front porch swing

built for two...me and you

Silver haired, faces aged, hands holding hands

watching the sunset over our flowered hill

golden, like a jewel in the night…

Let me love you when I find you

MATURE COUPLE SITTING ON ROCKING CHAIRS ON PORCH

Your words lift heart and soul to that world where love wins... where two together know they are better, and they find each other and joy flows like spring rivers. Elegant and tender...

this poem made me feel a little sad, because it made me think about where my great grandmother would be now, if my great-grandfather was alive... it also made me smile, because i know exactly what i want for when i age. :) someone there to hold my hand on that swing, someone to rest my head on their shoulder... but most of all, someone to love me, and bestow happiness upon me like the gift it truly is. thank you for this marvelous thought-provoking piece...
