In The Dust Of DandelionsA Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnneWhen I go walking up and around the fields I often wonder how all the lovely flowers feel I bask in all the glory along the garden path The sweet smelling pangs of lavender and grass
I like to walk the pathway in the early morning dew It smells so clean and fresh, reminding me of you Walking through an orchard in shades of mauve and white Nothing's quite as beautiful except the moon at night
I hear the warbling music of a darting bird It sings a luring melody the sweetest song I’ve heard The dandelions caste their white frothy flight Washed with shades of yellow shining in the light
I like to run and spread my wings without a single care As seeds of all the dandelions fly throughout the morning air I wish I was ten again I’d blow them one by one And watch them gently fly away into the gilded sun ____________________________________________________________
