The Boy Who Rides By The Sea

The Boy Who Rides By The Sea

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

The boy from the sea

Rides bareback along the shore

His magnificent stallion and he

In the early morn

And the eve of night

Riding each day by the sea

Every day at dawn

I run to the shore

Just to catch a glimpse of he

In the moonbeams of night

I race to the land

Just to watch them

Gallantly ride by the sea

So beautiful in majesty

I quietly watch them ride

Moving together

As if they were one

Like a beautiful melody

Riding together in harmony

     This beautiful horse and he

            By the sea…

                    By the sea

You give these glimmers and glimpses such a tender beauty. I do love to ride horses.. there is such a feeling of freedom and joy.. It's found here in your words as well!

This is gorgeous, it brought back many fond memories for me of riding on the beach - an experience that's hard to beat. I love how it has an edge of fantasy - the mysterious "boy from the sea," great poem. Annie

You create a very good vision. The riding of a horse and the sea near bye open the door to a good place to be. Your strong description took me to the sea and the vision of a horse and the boy. Thank you for the outstanding poem.
