![]() A Man of Steel That Doesn't RustA Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne
He fixes boo-boos, writes
love letters and lets his wife sleep in He’s a haven of safety,
his sparkling eyes, warming smile and broad shoulders Make her feel warm and
protected She can cry on his
shoulder, and when she does, he doesn’t look at her strangely and say; “Gee what’s the matter
with you?” He doesn’t tell her he’ll
cuddle after the game He’s immediately
available to hold her and comfort her He’s her bastion of
calmness, strength and understanding When she’s in his arms,
she feels totally safe, like nothing in the world can hurt her. She knows that letting
out her feelings is okay and he gives her his undivided attention. He is deserving of the
best woman in the world…. This wonderful man of
steel
