SLEEPWALKING INTO YOUR MEMORY

SLEEPWALKING INTO YOUR MEMORY

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

I sleepwalk naked, straight into the memory of you

curved along a crescent moon

The deep blue evening drips its magic stars

falling gracefully  in the midnight sky

opening wide corridors of delight

They delicately stretch across my eager skin…

moist against your touch

releasing my passionate desires into the night

I breathe in your fire…

in trapped, raw edges of your passion burning bright

slipping out against eager, bare skin

peeled back along skeletal details

gracing the company of the moon’s golden path

adorning its beauty in the indigo evening sky

I quiver...

back arched upon cupids bow pulled tight by your fingers

tracing moonbeams that dance upon my face

with its purist liquid gold gently pouring down upon my skin

as I walk naked into your flame

begging you to quench my thirst

that lies eagerly wanting and waiting within

Whoa! By looking at the pretty and delicate face of your picture, I would not have expected such powerfully evocative words. You write well my dear. Mesmerizing in fact! ~Sharon
