Down The Rabbit Hole

 

The whirlwind of darkness surrounds me

I feel suffocated by its blackness…its nothingness

In a world that doesn’t seem to exist anymore

Except for an occasional flash of a broken painful memory

Of a live that I fail to see worth living…

Looking at it with ‘Three D’  vision

As if it wasn’t even my life at all

Like Alice in Wonderland…falling down the rabbit hole

Except there is no Wonderland for me

No happy home to share

No,   “They lived happily ever after” ending

A heart that’s in such a need of mending

I’m stuck in the rabbit hole

I can’t find my wings to fly

I’m looking for a nest to huddle in

To hide from the world

And from all those demon spirits I know so well

To hide from the whole wide world
