![]() Just Who Is This Jolly Ole' SoulA Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne![]() author unknown![]()
Once upon a midnight clear and snowy Rides a jolly lil’ fatman and all his reindeer He comes in the night! While the little one's sleep on pillows so white All are dreaming of bugles, dolls and drums
Santa mounts to the roof like a bird Gliding snugly to his seat on his sleigh Not a sound of his reindeer hooves are heard As they merrily and noiselessly gallop away
The mystery of this jolly little man Still remains unknown For that is Santa's secret plan But if you think about his love and joy You'll see how he works through your loved ones... Like your dear mom and your dad And you'd know what he gives you isn't simply a toy You'll see him in their smiles You'll see him in your dreams And when you get tucked in at night You'll see him by his happy, gentle gleam ![]() He rides to the East, and he rides to the West Of his goodies he touches not one He eateth the crumbs of the Christmas feast When the dear little folks are done Old Santa Claus doeth all that he can This beautiful mission is his Then, children, be good to the little old man When you find who the little man is
