Ancient Spirits

Ancient Spirits

A Poem by anne p. murray- LadeeAnne

**~~**

Bathed in lightning dark waters from under the sea

Beneath bequeathed Celestial moons

Running in cadence under starlit canopies

As freedom whispers its nightly song

Enchanted horses play under Heavens blue

While on vintage blowing winds..

Nature sings her Celtic tune

With nostrils flaring under flowing silken manes...

Thundering hooves pound together in glorious reverie

Bounding and frolicking with spirits untamed

Horses running - glistening under the glow of the night

Majestic, and wild - arriving from many archaic stables

Running wild and free underneath bright golden moons

Come these beloved ancient spirits from ancestral fables
