Enchanted

Enchanted

A Poem by Lacuna Badtz
"

I thought I kissed a prince...he turned out to be another frog.

"

Waiting for a kiss upon the doorstep

under a moon that shines like diamond eyes.

I wait alone in the bitter cold

and my lips, they long for a miracle.

I remember the cinematic expression

written across your face;

so beautiful upon the movie screen.

I believe every word you say

as if they were not scripted,

because I still believe in fairytales

and their enchanting ever-afters,

and love that is like an eternal dream.

I refuse to wake from the thought of you and I.

it is a gender malady, hoping for the prince, the kiss, and ending with the frog. I like the flow of the poem and enjoyed the read. Barbara

There are no fairy tales...
except in the fantasy world of imagination...
yet the endearment to live them...
is a cautious one...
by any means of the reality...
seems you still want the need to be happy...
so find the one that's in your reach...
you must fall many times...to find the one...
which suits your interest and goals...
in life...as we know it...keep searching...
