PTSD

Flashbacks

Nightmares

Paranoia

Pain is a prison

Unable to escape

Therapy sessions

Brain being picked

Trying to understand

Don’t know if I’ll ever be the same again

Dreaming things will get better

People saying to give it time

Another gem! Love the progression, the narrative, it flows splendidly, and every line packs a great punch. You have a grammatical error in Line 4 ("doesn't" should be "don't", because "things" in Line 3 is plural), which is also the case in the repetition towards the end; and I'm a bit confused about the presence of "Unable to escape"....is that supposed to a personal thought or a continuation from the previous line? Either way it seems out of place, because the following line doesn't seem to carry on well enough from that idea. It's a great idea - don't get me wrong - I just can't see how it fits. Other than that - fantastic! Absolutely well done!
