Young and small

two little girls danced around a room

laughter in the air

a moment of grace a beauty

a moment of love

a moment to never forget

but.. you forgot

Two girls sit on a bed

arms wrapped around tight

tears in their eyes

yelling everywhere

echoing through the house

a moment of anger and sadness

a moment to forgive and forget

a moment to move on from

but.. you never did

Two girls stand in front of each other

each one completely different

one looks at the other

hoping to find the reason why

and knows she never will

a moment so dark and scary

a moment life almost slipped from your hand

a moment of pain

One girl stares out the window

and watches the car drive away

tears in her eyes

she's gone...

it's always been the two of them from the start

she wasn't ready to leave

but she could never see

blinded by her own pain and misery

she left without a second thought
