Just me

I stand in front of you

and you look right through me

like I'm nothing

I try to speak to you

but you don't hear me

I start to cry

but you don't hear my cry

I fall to the ground

realizing it happened again

I let down my walls

I opened my heart

and I let someone in

I showed them my tears of weakness

just to get them shoved in my face once again

is it just me?

do I cause my own sorrow

do I fail myself because I trust

and let my precious walls down

is it

just me....
