Where has the time gone

Two sisters once close but slowly drifting apart

Brown eyes full of sorrow

stares at her sister

the pain of lies, hate, and jealousy

runs through her mind

and the tears pool over her eyes

when will enough be enough

two young girls storming around this filthy world

wishing sisters could be sisters

together forever

just us against the world

but, no it's the world and you against me

a little sister lost

trying to be the big sister

trying to make things right

but failing every time

wishing she could go back in time

to where her and her sister used to play

when we used to have an imagination

when we didn't care what people said

when we where there for each other

a time where we had each others back 

a time when the world didn't seem that bad

because I had you and you had me

so tell me

where has the time gone?
