I'm Alright

 

For once in my life I don’t need a guy to make me whole on the inside.

I’ll be okay holding my head up as high as the sky.

I can smile without wanting to wither and die on the inside.

 

I’ll keep holding my head up high as the sky when things don’t go my way in the pouring rain.

Not going to look for a starless sky tonight, I’m looking for a sky of hope of dreams and love.

Holding my head up high cause I am doing alright tonight.

 

Dreams are in my reach because I am alright.

Doing great is just fine tonight.

Wanting a man but it’s not the thing god has in plan for now.

 

I have my friend tonight and I am high up in the sky.

My heart is whole to the highest degree.

Don’t feel sad because I am alright.
