Falling

 

She is falling
falling down a black hole

An eternal darkness surrounds her
It overwhelms her

She looks down and sees a faint light
a faint light that refuses to get closer

She looks up and sees all the stars
all the lights

All the other places she could've fell
But she was cast away to this place

She looks back down and notices the light
it is getting closer

But the darkness is consuming it
It is disappearing

She bows down
Prays to a god she had long abandoned

Only to find that god has abandoned her as well
she is being taken over by the darkness

She is half way gone already
She faces the light and closes her eyes

Knowing that if she can hit the light
everything will be better

She has never wanted anything more in her life.
