Silver ad Gold

A poem I made for a creative writting class.

The simple quiet of the night
Makes it all seem more still
And everything seems alright
Standing there in the nights chill

The cold rain falling to the ground
Lit with silver from the full moon
The floating orb that makes no sound
And now the sun comes far too soon

Gold and silver collide in the skies
The gold and silver dance and fight
but the silver falls as gold rises
I miss the moon now out of sight
