The One That Doesn't BelongA Poem by Labyrinth KuroYay poetry ^_^
Started out as a little girl,
Grew into a teen, Made fun of books and TV shows, Without being mean. That young girl would sit in the sun, And listen to the day, And to the music of the trees, She'd sing her heart away. But cruel were hands that touched her, Hard were looks she took, Sharp were the pains deep in her heart, So she wrote it in a book. Her diary she carried with her, Throughout her whole childhood, She turned into a young woman, But meeker than she should. For she was strong inside that book, Her courage, great and strong, But outside of its pages, Sat a girl that didn't belong. © 2015 Labyrinth KuroFeatured Review
