First loveA Poem by Labu
On the road home that was tinged in the sunset's glow
Our stretched shadows linked as one as we walked Ah, the side of your face when you're feeling dejected as you kick the pebble It's a sight that belongs only to me On those days of our first love Do you remember the smiles we exchanged with each other? On those days that were dyed in sepia colors, you became a little more grown up Softly, quietly, we will revive that warmth They will always, at all times, be gentle memories between us You always came to pick me up on your bicycle And your back was like a tiny universe Ah, "I feel I can go anywhere" It was a forsaken promise we made with our linked fingers On those days of our first love, do you recall the tears I shed? I was childish during those days but I love you with all my heart I"m sure, without fail, even if I fall in love with someone new My memories of you are ones which will never, ever fade On those days of our first love Do you remember the smiles we exchanged with each other? On those days that were dyed in sepia colors, you became a little more grown up Even if the glow of this streetlight doesn't reach you wherever you are I wish you will be happy While riding on this wind Softly, quietly, we will revive that warmth They will always, at all times, be gentle memories between us The days of our first love © 2011 LabuReviews
