How to fall in love

How to fall in love

A Poem by LaFleur

First,

You see them talking

You see them walking

You see them only from a distance

Then,

You talk with them

You walk with them

No longer at a distance, but not yet close.

Next,

You start to feel it,

Those soft flutters deep inside

When they smile at you, it's like those flutters turn into drums,

Beating your heart into exhileration.

You feel a rush

And then it vanishes,

Leaving you feeling even emptier inside.

Because they're gone.

Lastly,

You dream

About what could've been

About what should've been

And what would've been

If they had only known

That you've fallen,

And now you're broken.

I enjoyed this greatly :) It could not have been put into a better way

Nice way of putting 'love' as a 'How To' theme. The feeling of love is the most powerful and hurtful at the same time. Beautifully written :)
