Stairway to Ecstasy (Led Zeppelin meets Beyonce)

Stairway to Ecstasy (Led Zeppelin meets Beyonce)

A Poem by LaDain Jackson
"

About a woman who feels worshipped and scorned.

"
There's a lady who walked in with 6 inch heels
She captured everybody with glitter and gold
She pays her way to heaven everywhere she goes
Words of desire run through her veins like morphine

She works for the money as her true spirit cries
In everyone else's eyes she's worth every minute
She stacks her money as the club echoes with laughter
She lies through her days to reach new heights
Her head hums through sleepless nights

As she winds down material things are still larger than her soul
In the eyes of every man and woman every part of her skin turns into gold
She always feels unequal like the young compared to the old
Maybe one day she will pay her way...

Out of heaven
