Raindrops

Raindrops

A Poem by La Belle Musical
"

This is a 'nonnet'. My first - of hopefully many.

"

Last one dancing on a round field sways
To the beat of a thunder storm.
Watch the rain fall silently
As fresh water pools with
Hopes and dreams. Leave now
Before it starts
Once more. Fair
Well.

well, im impressed by the structure. i've never heard of a nonnet, but i like the idea of it - has it's own sort of aesthetic.

as for the poem, well ... i loved it. the structure complimented the write, and it didnt feel forced to fit in with the structure, which is what these type of poems normally fall into the trap of. very nice, and picturesque poem.
