A Fool's PlaythingA Poem by La Belle MusicalA little on the disturbing side, I'm almost afraid of this one... almost.
'Tis nothing more than a fool who plays with fire And never thinks to the heat. 'Tis a great joy to see the fool burn; 'Twas a great sight to see him ablaze. It makes my heart sing to see a fool burn, But the greater joy is in hearing the fool's cries, As he pleads with me To put his fire out And I laugh, I do At a great fools folly To think I would help A fool who thought he could play with fire' And escape its wrath. 'Tis a great joy to see a fool burn. © 2008 La Belle MusicalAuthor's Note
