Opera In The Stars

Opera In The Stars

A Poem by L.M.Warde

From dust I was born,
but no form do I take,
No tissue or organs,
no blood and no bones.
While you sleep it is I who's awake.

Like fire I move through the cosmos,
in circles I dance star to star.
From Saturn to Venus
Neptune to Mars
My stage is both near and far.

Look out to the night and you'll find me,
it is here I will be forever long
With no worries of strangers,
nor fears about dangers,
I dance to an unknowable song.
