AnimalsA Poem by L.M.Warde
Vicious wolves are we,
who stalk from the shadows and wait. We're creatures of ravenous greed you see, hungry for what sits on your plate. We hide behind masks of morality, disguised as honorable beings. We call it good will and necessity, we pillage your home, take all your things. We've sold our hearts for prosperity, convinced it's a worthwhile trade. Now we won't feel the cavity, where compassion and conscience stayed. Hush now, don't worry or fear. It's for the best at the end of the day. We'll keep you fed and happy, my dear, for we are the wolves, and you are the prey © 2013 L.M.WardeReviews
