The Beginning...

"Luna Clearwater, Dean Cross, Carolyn Knight, and Soundless... "I've chosen you four for a very important mission." Our commander in charge shouted standing, with his hands behind his back, in front of of us. We stood in the center room of Commander Jack's office. I could feel my heart beginning to pound, something was wrong. Why did he choose us? None of us knew each other... so why pick us? I looked to my right, Dean and Soundless, the boy seemed like he'd been on to many missions, and the girl looked like she'd seen to many lives taken. I looked to my left, Carolyn, she looked like she'd NEVER seen a fight let alone been in one. Me on the other hand have seen enough battles and innocent lives taken then I can handle. I looked down the image of my two little sisters being killed in front of me flashing through my mind. "Luna?"
