A final speechA Stage Play by HannahAn abstract monologue I made up
I'd been pacing the bridge for over an hour.
The people, oh all the people, they just walked past me. None of them looked. No one cared. I was so alone. I saw the sky, it's red flicker like a flame... Those flames that were taking them! My thoughts, my happy, happy thoughts. I heard it, they heard it too! The men stopped, slowly people stopped and looked. At me? Me. I realised that sound was my scream 'Shhh' I laughed, like a young child full of joy! I laughed until I cried. I looked over the bridge, the river quietly running beneath me... How nice and peaceful it looked. Gently closing my eyes I relaxed, leaving the people's cries above me. Now was their time to scream. © 2014 HannahAuthor's Note
