Campfire WisdomA Poem by Luke Rawlings
Surrounded by poisons; living in fear,
I emerge from the sea. Coughing and bitter. Sitting on this beach, I look into the clouds. The tears of the angels fall, From longing or joy? I invite you to drink with me, child, to drink, From this day we live. And all the rest. I will save you, child, from the voices in the dark. But you can save yourself. I just hold the key. © 2014 Luke Rawlings |
