No MoreA Poem by Juley Schmidtthere is a realism to what i have written but this song is more exspessive than realistic.Ever so clear, that vision of light just peeking over the horizon, Ever more the brightest feature of the life that I choose to live, A life of solitude, Ever so clear, what more is there to go around, I’ve given all I can and taken no more than I can carry, Silently I play on the rain that is no more that a flint of my imagination, Again with this world of everlasting light, Never again to see the darkness, Never again to sleep, But all the more intellectual, Seeing a world with eyes untainted by the darkness, But no sleep do these eyes receive, And further more do I rain, Alone do I wish to stay, for there is no real world, There is no such thing as love, There is no such thing as purity, And there is no more innocence, Calmly my mind accepts this reality and no more do I rain, Rain, the figurative of my tears, May they be calm like the spring showers, Or may they be harsh like the thunder storm that brings the death, No more tears, No more darkness, No more love, No more.
