How relationships end

How relationships end

A Poem by Lola Nation
"

at least to me...

"

Relationships end

when

you don’t flush

leave the toilet seat up

and leave me without paper

B*****d

Would have could have last night

but you went down the street

and I stayed in

Drink the last

wake up past noon

it’s okay, you got a job

You’ll catch up on the bills

oh so soon

it will be just fine

If I would only

have patience

Well, I’m worn down

tired , irritable and patience as we know it

has never been my strong suit

No sex, restless and bored

These are the things that lead

A good woman to being

a

sore sport

I refuse to repeat myself

not since the last time

I asked you to pay the rent

or forego the mild cost of PBR

7 days a week

30 days a month at $4.49 a sixpack

(Ends up $134 a month

$1608 per year)

Cheers!

F**k it

regret it

Change it

or do nothing

about it, it’s all the same

I don’t care.

Very entertaining and I can relate to a time i felt this way. You seem to want to strengthen through it and I admire that, you know the precious value of your love.

I like this. It might be because it reminds me of my own writing style, or because it's so bluntly personal.
