The Sacred Battleground.

The Sacred Battleground.

A Poem by LMWolf

Away from the sacred battleground
Every breath of life never to be found

The tear-less blood of those before us
Where the bodies lie of those who bore us

They knock on heavens golden gate and wait
Only to realize that this is not their fate
That they were only bait
To bring on others who will soon be to late

Dying to be glorious
Striving to be notorious

Are they dying to be free?
Or dying to finally see
That they were just a pawn in the game of chess
And all of the these soldiers dead they couldn’t care less
As long they are labeled one of the best
So many have failed on this power test.
