Betrayal

"I lived

I loved

I trusted

I cared

I got betrayed,

I cried

You meant the world to me

I would've given up anything for you

Thought I could come to you with anything

No, 

You left me in misery,

Now I'm lost

I'm lonely

Someone so close to me is against me,

I can't help but to think who would ever stay by my side

I need to pull it together,

Too bad I'm not interested in anything or anyone

I don't know the meaning of loyalty and affection

I also don't know the feeling of happiness and joy

Or get a sense of some comfort

The world is not a safe place anymore,

The people have lost their value and purpose."

The first few lines explained your whole poetry! In just a few words you explained how life goes. We live, things happens, we get betrayed and we don't know what to do.
And I specially liked the ending. A person who lived life to his/her fullest now doesn't even remember what joy is.

Heartbreak, now-a-days is expected
