THE TWO OF US

THE TWO OF US

A Poem by Holi Hudson
"

IT'S ANOTHER BLOGY TYPE ENTRY.

"

 OH, MYSELF?

SOMETIMES, I HATE LETTING THINGS GO.

I FEEL LIKE IT'S MY FAULT WHEN NOTHING
HAPPENS, OR GETS ANY BETTER.
I FEEL LIKE I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING.

OH, HIM?
I LET HIM TAKE THE REIGNS.

I FEEL LIKE I JUST LET HIM GO.
NOW HE'S GONE.

"SEEYA IN A YEAR."
NO, HE DIDN'T EVEN SAY GOODBYE.

MAYBE IT JUST WASN'T MEANT TO BE?

Or maybe Ohio guys just suck. He didn't say goodbye and he didn't take you seriously.

Brooklyn guy? He'd give you a piece of his heart to hold until he came back.

Don't worry, my darling. You have a year left. I'll see about visiting this winter, or maybe Thanksgiving time, what what?
