You are my Light

Each song on the radio, I hear your voice.

Each show on tv, I see your face. 

Each passing glance, I see your eyes. 

Each person I meet, It's you can't replace. 

Love comes in many forms.

Different times, different feelings, and in our hearts it dorms. 

For you it only took a few mere weeks,

Yet I feel I have known you for years. 

But sometimes love is only one sided,

And one side is left with tears. 

You are still the last thought I think of at night. 

You are still the one, for you I would fight. 

But these feelings are what I try to hold back and bite. 

Its futile. You are still my light. 

There is a wall between us, with words left unsaid. 

We are in one place, yet my mind keeps running ahead. 

I can't keep up with your fast pace then slow,

We need to agree on a steady flow. 

I cannot keep giving you back my heart, 

Cause you keep finding new ways to tear it apart.

They say you have to find the one worth all the pain,

To me that sounds more like a curse. 

But I'd gladly hurt for you, it hurts so good,

I will always keep running in reverse.

Sad but so cool. they say love is for two but i think love is for one.If you love in love with urself you will never get hurt but loving some other person ....he/she will only end up disappointing you.

This is universally beautiful. Maybe it's just me, but it sums up wonderfully the feelings I had, and still have, of when I first met my wife. Where one person is your entire world. Everything is a part of them. Sheer beauty.
