Boy-Male-Gentlemen-Man

Boy-Male-Gentlemen-Man

A Poem by LeDiisco
"

This is a poem about guys.... I think it truly depicts how they truly are =]

"

A boy depends on the people around him,

So he doesn't have to work.

He uses others to achieve his desires

Manipulation is his personal perk .

Boys need care and nurture

Or else they will subside.

They only function with help around

and what they choose to provide.

A male is a creature of true disgust

Only craving satisfaction.

Feelings can be hurt, so long as not his

There will be no reaction.

He dwells in the dark, solitude in revulsion,

Pushing everyone away.

The only ones that are wounded

Are the vapid ones that stay.

A gentleman respects

And has intentions that are honorable.

He is extremely patient, loving

And of up most tolerable.

Women, to him, are put first,

He works hard everyday.

Only problem is,

Most gentlemen are gay.

But a man is partially of all three

He is evenly proportioned out.

He does his job he pays his bills

He lives without any doubt.

Responsible and respectful

Habitually uses his brain.

Unfortunately this man

Is almost impossible to obtain.

A lot of reviewers are saying that I have either confused all guys for ass holes or that I have taken one bad experience and made it for all men. This isn't true, I know there are good men out there, and if you read the whole thing, the last two parts even say that.

The experiences are from many guys. But it only took one to inspire the poem. I did not write it to put any of the readers that are guys down, I am by no means speaking about you =] Thank you for your reviews though! Much appreciated <3

This is the sort of thing that nearly everyone always seems to disagree with - because they supposedly know better and are supposedly more "reasonable" - but the reason for that is that they nearly always take it personally. It works both ways, of course - men would have a parallel argument about the perfect woman, but that would be the opposite of what most women think a woman should be, and vice versa with their idea about what the perfect man should be. In the end, of course, it usually turns out that they fall in love with someone who doesn't fit that criteria anyway. Ironic. Perhaps the perfect man or woman would just end up being a bore.

This is a really amusing poem, and (although I'm a man) I largely agree with it. The assumption that if a man is a gentleman then he is nearly always gay is hilarious - but from a woman's point of view it's true. If a man is a gentleman then a woman doesn't really see him as "manly" in my experience. In the end, opposites attract.
Good fun, intelligently composed and thought out.

Incredible strong potent truth. I think any male reader of this poem is going to be forced to look at them selves and in doing likely be disappointed to some degree. This is an incredible straight shooting pearl of wisdom. I love it and intend to put it into my library so I remember what to strive for.

I have been too often a man but strive more and more to be a gentleman.

It seems to me that you've taken one bad experience with one guy and extrapolated that to fit your convenient view of every male on the planet.
All the girls I've known have been self-absorbed w****s. I COULD say that ALL women are like that. I won't, because I know it's not true.

Cute in a way, although it is very serious. I always enjoy the work that in inspired by observing the world around us. This one has a very personal feel about it. Having the feeling of a one on one encounter is what drew me in. Very candid and sincere.
