The Wish We Make For Those Who We LoathA Poem by LeDiiscoI wrote this when I was a tad smidgen mad, like most of my poems... I don't really spend more then 15 minutes on them so excuse any of the small errors I might have made.Have you ever had one of those days? Where you wanna pack up and run away. Run so far that you just forget. Forget the people who you wish you never met. They bully you and tie you down. You feel like you're being dragged around. But you do not dare to say a word. So you remain quiet. The silent bird. A place of refuge you hope to find. But wherever you look you still remain blind. They take advantage of your friendly face. Slowly within anger it becomes replaced. About to break and shut down fast. Don't know how long your sanity will last. To erase the ones who defeated your smile. Or maybe see them suffer for awhile. Wishing to be happy, longing for the feeling back. But the moment you let your guard down, they are sure to attack. One ounce of weakness and they run to feed. They wont stop until they see your soul bleed. They thrive on the others who they bring far down. While we are here crying they feel like a crown. But one day they'll pay with the ultimate price. They'll be all alone with nobody nice. They'll never feel the warm hand of love. There life will be nothing but an old used up glove. They'll be glared at and hated and thrown away. Now all thats left is to wait for that day. © 2011 LeDiiscoAuthor's Note
