Silly Girl

Silly Girl

A Poem by LeDiisco
"

I think every girl can relate to this poem somehow or another.

"

Silly girl Silly girl.

Who are you trying to fool.

You're stuck inside of your own little dream

And fall for the boy who's a tool.

Silly girl Silly girl.

You believe all these boys way too fast.

They gain your trust little by little

But then they leave you there for last.

Silly girl Silly girl.

You day dream way too much.

They love to play with you pretty head

And your left thinking of their last touch.

Silly girl Silly girl.

You need to just move on.

It was just a one night stand

And now you are playing as his pawn.

Silly girl Silly girl.

You deserve way much more.

You know the moment he gets the chance

He will disappear through that door.

Silly girl Silly girl.

Just let go of your fears.

This little boy is worth nothing you shed.

Not even those few small tears.

This is one of the sad unforgiving trials of life. There is wisdom coming from the experience in this poem. It is wisdom, a warning and the vision of a soothsayer all wrapped up in one package. You explained that it was for everyone and true that is.. for many of us guys have felt like the Silly Boy as well. You have a special talent for trimming off the fat and leaving only the quintessential words of your themes. Every line packs a knockout punch. You never seem to have to set it up. It's very difficult with such candid speech, but the risk is worth the reward of genuine emotion. Kudos for making it look easy. In the hands of most writers...this teknik would turn out to be a disaster.

Oh those one night stands. Nothing good comes from one night stands. just misleading. sometimes the girl wants more and the guy only wants one thing. so its better at all cost avoid one night stands and see if their is a chance of a relationship. great piece. silly girl needs to learn from her mistakes :D

this depicts a girl who is trusting of everyone and has gotten hurt many times. she has to realize they're not the kind of men to fall in love with because they don't deserve you. great poem.

Spot on, Zeitgeist Manifesto... Spot on.

Don't trust a boy!! There's a difference between a boy and a man.

The irony of this poem is exquisite. The silly girl laments but her lack of insight reveals her want of more. Great write from a woman's perspective. Great flow of ideas.
