Now It's My Turn

I sit here waiting. I never learn.

I really should give someone else a turn.

But I keep holding on. That one string of hope. 

The result is that I sit home and mope. 

I can't get the hint cause you play with my head. 

You're my last thought when i lay down in my bed.

I know it is bad. I let it too far. 

I need to stop before it turns to a scar. 

But still I am here. Cause I eat up the lies. 

My heart thrives on the hi's and byes.

But I wish you could see. You could have had me. 

But I guess im not perfect. And now unhappy. 

When I am gone you'll want me back.

You only want the things you lack. 

But I promise I won't take a glance behind.

Everything will be perfectly timed. 

I'll see your face, the way you long. 

You'll realize just what you did wrong. 

But by that time, im sorry, it will be too late.

You're no longer the boy I wish to date.

You had the chance, you let it go.

You're feelings are at an all time low.

But I sit and smile while you feel the pain.

Cause from your suffer I gladly gain.

You saw me miss, me die, me cry.

But still you insisted on saying goodbye.

You watched as my insides would painfully burn.

So hunny, better believe its my turn.
