This Crazy Equation

I wish I could tell you what was on my mind….

There are scattered

thoughts all over the 

place

I want to sort everything

into

neat 

piles

and just spill everything out

like

      a

        bucket.

I am just scared.

If I tell you what I think about you…. It might push you away.

But At The Same Time I Am In Denial.

I just need comfort…. I am too scared to jump off the C

And I might get hurt. 

I want that security blanket to know when its 

OKAY

STOP

But I cant do it alone….

I need your help…

You have me confused…..

So please…. Let me in on the big secret. 

I am dying to know. 

I need to know. 

Because we could be a math equation just waiting to be solved.

9x-7i > 3(3x-7u)

….. Help me solve it.

Your cute tricks with the text are pretty entertaining and it gives the poem a schoolgirl lightness to it (well, it is Love, after all).. Sod the equation (I hate Math) -- the words say it all without the figures. However, Einstein would have been charmed.

This was nice. Meshing the structure with the content--the scattered thoughts drifting through your head--is reflective of the creativity of the writer.

I sometimes wonder how people find ways to create those cool indents and designs!
