Misunderstood

Misunderstood

A Poem by LeDiisco

Missed your hints, those little prints.

But you missed mine, misunderstood signs.

We could have had it, had it all.

But neither willing to take the fall.

Scared to be wrong, to face the fact.

Now when we talk we have to act.

I would not let you in my head,

It didn't matter what was said.

But now I look back and wish I did,

This regret I wish that I can rid.

Its not your fault and neither mine.

We just couldn't connect the line.

I hope that we can one day see,

That we had the chance to be a we.

really dig your style, must be the NY !
first 2 lines are just absolutely brilliant, not because of the witty rhymes but really because of the insane flow.
well done.

i really like this. It captures the apprehension of connecting and the regret of wasting time...
