I don't have a title for this sad love story yetA Poem by LeDiiscoI played hard to get so you wanted me bad. You only wanted what you couldn't have. Ignored your calls your texts and you. But giving up you would not do. You loved the chase the race the pace. Rejection was something you could not face. I was the challenge. I was the test. The one that truly stood out from the rest. But you were for real. Not just a game. I didn't see you as a boy to tame. I didn't know what you were planning to do. I had absolute faith in you. So I finally gave in and fell down deep. Now all I can do is weep. No longer a challenge, just plain old me, Im not the fun game that I used to be. So you let me down hard, Stabbed with a shard. All because I let down my guard. So Im left with some glue and a broken heart. Left to sort part by part. I'll leave out the piece I held you in. An empty hole. A hollow tin. I'll fill it with something thats unreal. But only until my heart can heal. © 2011 LeDiisco |
