Dear Mother

Dear Mother

A Poem by LeDiisco

This is my life,
But you're taking control,
Watching my every move,
Like you're working patrol.

Of course every parent,
Wants what is best,
But at some point or another,
You must take a rest.

The decisions I make,
Are mine, and my own.
You must trust that there right,
From the way you have shown.

I will make mistakes,
And from them I'll learn.
But in order to learn,
First I must burn.

I love you mother,
But this is my decision,
I promise,
I'll make every choice with precision.

Strange how it comes down to this.
Your piece is full of genuine emotion,
frustration and unconditional love.
