Artificial happinessA Poem by LeDiiscoAlittle darker then most of my other poems, but its lifeI’m sitting in my bedroom on a rather stormy night. I’m wondering why everything gets resulted in a fight. Anger dwelling. Skin is swelling. The smell is sweet as rust. The life I live is not relevant then the presents of a spec of dust. The signs are all flashing. Reality I’m slashing. Because the world is crashing hard. I cannot deal, I cannot tell. Innocence long ago fell. The feeling can make it all better. But it’s denied. After it’s been satisfied. When it’s not tolerable anymore. My That hypnotizes my Life. The world Will Never Know Of the secret I hold dear. But when it does, it will do more then Fear. What I have is misunderstood, understand? Is that something you could? You should. It’s in every childhood Or would that make your mind flood. Like the flood on my arm Made of blood. It doesn’t stain for long. It Stings Rings. But I for get the pain. Being replaced with Happiness. If it hurts somewhere else The pain in my mind goes away for awhile. Like a temporary high. Wanna try? I promise you won’t cry. The scar goes away, so you can’t remember the pain. No one has to know. When it’s covered it won’t show... …You know? So take my hand into the shade I’ll even let you use my blade Please friend, don’t be afraid Cause this is how happiness is made © 2013 LeDiisco |
