Something different from me. Possibly my deepest yet. Hope you like it!

 

Rhythmically, the mind will break

With waves of calm upon the beach

Of life. A Goldcrest of serenity

Flutters out of its womb with grace.

Let’s meditate.

 

Lower your arms for a lifetime

And you can ride the crests of calm

The gift of sight can be abused

By those who seek a world of greed

Let’s meditate.

 

Life is forever, yet too short

To damage what we have, spreading

Evil from our poison tongues

So close your eyes and pulsate peace.

Very meaningful, without being complicated and overly-philosophical. Great lines were "Evil from our poison tongues" and "A Goldcrest of serenity" they sounded beautiful :)
