《Sound of the Deep Ocean》

Sound of the deep ocean

Quietly said to me, “Come and join the sea.”

Yes, I kindly accepted it

Please, drown me because I don't want to live

 

Walking to the end of this cliff as I stared at the endless sea

Here I was, allowing the salty water to pull off my body,

So the soul inside could be free

 

I didn’t jump, instead a step forward without the cliff as ground

May the gravity pull at me, may the sea call to me

 

I didn’t close my eyes, but let the water block my sight

Washed the window of my soul, without the dirt on it,

Everything was clean

 

Opening my mouth and stop the holding of breaths,

Now the sea filled my body, ready to leave this cruel world behind

To become a part of it

 

“Why have you come here?”

A sound echoed around but no figure appeared

 

“You… you called me here.”

Bubbles of gas traveling through my throat, yet no voice

 

“No, call you here, I didn’t. Why would I left a bloody scar on my skin?”

 

“Please, at least buried me.”

 

I went deeper and deeper with the float of water,

Waves gently delivered me to the very end

It understood, the choice I had made with no regret

By completely my last request, letting me rest in peace
