Declaration and Defence

Declaration and Defence

A Poem by Lucinda Bogart
"

I wrote this after reading Justice on the road by High Road. You can find his piece here: http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/bigfoot12_13/241640/

Writer

Take thy solace and release

In times of death and lack of peace
When mangled memories nare do cease
 Thy Pen
The declaration and defense
For the blood of kings so spent
Unrighteous wealth was recompensed
 But Beware
The infliction of thy Pen
Bestows explicit responsibility
For it is by thy Pen they remember thee

I am extremely glad that you glean inspiration from my work. This is a piece that I believe insightfully responds to my piece. It is sound and well put together and it has a flair that only you add to your writing. I love it; it will be going onto my favorites list for sure.
