Tick Tock

Tick Tock

A Poem by Lucinda Bogart

The tick

Tock

Of your watch

Kept perfect imperfect time

Last I knew it was but the screw

That wiggled when you'd wind

Twenty three words ! Your stories are
getting so long.
I can hardly wait to see what`s next.
I love these little stories because I love the
economy of words-- you say so much with the
use of so little.
Great work. Thanks.

I agree, your precision use of words is akin to the scalpel. You say so much in such a potent package. I look forward to reading more work from you soon.

Short and sweet. You did a great job with meter and rhyme. And although it was short and concise, the imagery was still intact. Superb job.
