I can keep a secret?

The fruit that I have tasted is so sweet

Taking away the sensation of the taste

The visual of not needing anything else

Trapped in a tender cage of sweet nothings

 

Your experience vibrates in me

A bead of sweat,

A blow of your breath

A moan of ecstasy,

The pleasure of the skin

The look, that sends me to paradise

 

An unbound soul, relishing in the light

Screams that echoes in my brain

Slowly losing everything and gaining something else

Something that cannot be forgotten

The taste of that fruit that put me away

 

The longing of your touch

The sound of you voice

The whispers of your pillow talk

Telling me everything you done

 

A past that is clear as present

A future that muddles every time,

You mix present and past

I know you like I know how to breathe

And here you are asking me to keep our secret

Can I, Will I, Should I,

I am yours yet you are not mine

So I will walk away with this secret locked forever away

What I got from this poem is she is committed to someone that she can't have and he wants to hide her. She's willing to hold onto something that isn't 100% hers just so she can have him a little while longer. I loved it.
