The silhouette of desire

The silhouette of desire

A Poem by EL LAO
"

tell me if you get the idea,

"
This feeling of anguish that transpires over me

The feeling of being intertwined with you

The feeling of wanting something so bad but not allowed to have

A feeling that arrives from a pleasure of taboo

We yearn for what we can’t have,

For once we taste it, can’t be forgotten

We have one another but yet another

Knowing that that this is but a dream we live now

Not wanting to wake up but not allowed to dream

I feel like a flower without the sun

A song without a beat

A need for one, that has transpired a simple want

This desire that rages inside, is dangerous

Knowing I could go crazy from it

But I still don’t care, I welcome insanity,

If it means I can spend another second with you

A poem written beautifully . The words flow and we realize a wonderful and amazing, but forbidden love ... but still love ... and only that matters!
