Just something I want to express

I said don’t worry for my heart is already taken

She playfully smiled and told me stay

I kept in touch, just talking and laughing

The goddess, demon, and temptress bewitching me every chance she got

 

The simplicity of her words had a deeper impact then I could tell

Not knowing what was happening to me and leaving me dazed

Not knowing, is worse as it is gradual decent and not a free fall

Forcing her way, and possessing more of me

 

Why is this even about her?

She is an accessory that does not match any of my outfits

A snowflake on the brink of melting

A note that is fading away, to memory

 

A hardness that appears in lustful situations

She played with me and never allowed me to go soft

An appetite, with no way to feed it

Starving for a taste but always denied

 

A mother who is unblemished by the act of giving life

Always there and being ready for the cries of the young

Tender with a hint of sensuousness, not seen in a white lily

She told me “be careful, I am easy to fall in love with”

I like the transitions in this poem. You did very well in describing the different stages, and the way how thoughts and feelings were intertwined while she "advanced" in your territory were written very well!
Such is love, sometimes comes like thunderbolt, and other times, you wake up and it is there :D
